Klay Information Management Consulting is looking for a full-time business continuity professional who will provide consulting services to our active and potential clients. The professional will work with our team of employees to deliver a variety of business continuity plans.

Your responsibilities include:

Business Continuity Planning
Pandemic Response Planning
Crisis and Emergency Management
Disaster Recovery Planning (IT)

  • Develop and document business continuity plans and controls and recovery procedures
  • Conduct analytical sessions and workshops with clients from multiple business units
  • Assess and analyze business interruption risks by applying business process analysis techniques
  • Advise clients in developing viable business continuity strategies for their business processes
  • Interact with recovery vendors and other suppliers
  • Develop crisis scenarios
  • Develop and document procedures, policies and guidelines
  • Facilitate table-top exercises and training sessions
  • Create recovery strategies
  • Document technology recovery procedures and evaluate backup and replication strategies

Project Planning and Management:

  • Present project proposals clients
  • Communicate status and issues to project teams and managers on a timely basis
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients
  • Lead projects with attention to detail

As the qualified candidate you possess:

  • Undergraduate degree, though a masters is preferred,  in business or information technology
  • Previous business experience
  • Superior written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on structured / technical writing and large document creation
  • Experience with requirements gathering and business analysis
  • Strong Knowledge of MS Office, Visio, MS Project
  • Must be flexible and able to work independently or within a group setting
  • Strong analytical skills; ability and desire to learn various analytical techniques and methodologies
  • Knowledge / familiarity with business or system process analysis are an asset
  • Basic knowledge / interest in developing project management skills
